A positive working relationship with the therapist is the single most important element in feeling that psychotherapy is helpful. Thus, the first couple of times we meet is an opportunity for you to see how you feel working with me and whether I have the experience necessary to help you. After this initial period we will decide if moving forward makes sense and what treatment recommendations I can offer.
I offer "traditional" psychotherapy sessions in my office. These are typically 50-minutes. Sessions are also available in your space.
Follow up sessions can also take place by video conference or phone. This is typically requested by clients when they are traveling or ill.
