My work as a therapist is to get to know you, your struggles and strengths so that I can align with you to move in the direction you desire. I partner with my clients to help widen awareness and understanding, which is key to change, healing and effectiveness. This is done in the context of compassion, support, and confidentiality – we are only human, after all.

Effective psychotherapy work is only possible through having a good working relationship with the therapist. Thus, being a “good fit” with my clients is essential.

The “tools and techniques” of my work are based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy, primarily. The “art” of my work comes from practicing mindfully and drawing on my client’s strengths (everyone’s got them!) to move forward.
